i'm thrilled to participate in milk + bookies day this year!
milk + bookies is a nonprofit organization providing books to underprivileged children. to celebrate milk + bookies day and to get the word out about the cause (you can click HERE to donate + HERE to find out how to throw your own milk + bookies party), i was asked to share our very favorite book.
huck loves where the wild things are, and goodnight moon, and huck runs amuck (and my favorite growing up was the amelia bedelia stories), but right now, we're really enjoying no, david! by david shannon, because it's short and sweet, and i get to use all my real awful mom voices for it. (we rush through it because huck's attention span is still sort of hit and miss.)
No David sounds like a book I would have the tolerance to read one time and one time only.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I loved amelia bedelia- my fav was when she made sponge cake from an actual sponge.
ReplyDeleteDavid's teeth are scary. Perhaps his mom is afraid he'll gnaw on something so she HAS to tell him "no."
ReplyDeleteaw, that is so cute, natalie :)
ReplyDeleteUm. Is that Missoni for Target bedding?????
ReplyDeleteLove it!!!!

We read Where The Wild Thjngs Are and Huck Runs Amok every night too! Our sons are Max and Huck (good name choice, eh?) I'm glad a friend sent me your way. You're adorable and your Huck is too cute for words!
ReplyDeleteI watched this video while nursing the kiddo and he popped right off and grinned wildly for the duration.
ReplyDeleteWe just got the book "In Salt Lake City..." and it's really cute (i only like it because I actually live here...otherwise...)! -it's fun to go around and show our baby what we read in the book :)

I first read this as milk+ boobies hahaha! Nursing mommy brain for ya... We love Goodnight Moon :)
ReplyDeleteThink I must be a really sleep-deprived Mummy, because for about 1/4 of that post, I kept on reading milk and boobies.... and I was thinking what the? lol. My little girls favourite books are Spot books, don't know if you have them in the US? But they are lift the flap ones and she loves being involved! Off to go put my silly self to bed now!
ReplyDeleteMy sons said, "AGAIN! AGAIN! AGAIN!" after watching this.
ReplyDeletelook at him. just look at him!
